SHREVEPORT, La.-- Millsaps Men's Basketball loses to Centenary College in the Shreveport-Bossier Holiday Classic.

In a similar game to the last matchup against Centenary, Millsaps fell behind by double digits against Centenary and was never able to recover. Millsaps starters had a rough night from the jump, each member of the starting lineup shooting poorly from the field in this game. The Majors did receive relief off the bench in this game, getting efficient efforts from Trent Markwith, James Turner, Saxton Becker, and Logan Mancuso.

In a rough offensive outing, no Majors accumulated double digits points. Robert Gardner and James Turner led all Majors in scoring with nine points. Saxton Becker and Buck Blanz followed with eight points and seven points respectively. Millsaps did have some success shooting from behind the arc in this game, racking up eight 3-pointers, led by Gardner with three and a perfect 2-2 night from Becker. Brennan Gagen led all Majors in rebounding with six. Markwith came off the bench to lead Millsaps in assists with four. Sam Kohnke also tied for the Majors lead in assists with four on the afternoon.
