Decatur, GA – The Millsaps Women's Tennis Team improved to 10-4 with a 9-0 win over Agnes Scott on Sunday.
 
Sunday's match marks the third over the weekend, as the Majors clinched the match in singles play winning all six matchups.  Millsaps later went on to secure the 9-0 victory winning all three doubles matches by a combined score of 24-3.
 
Ashley Ford got things started with a one spot victory in singles play 6-3, 6-0.  Audrey Bennett and Jordyn Kanak then earned wins at the two and three spots.  Wins by Mary Claiborne-Sharpe and Tori Barbier at the four and five spots clinched the match for Millsaps, as Reya Hayek closed out singles play with a 6-0, 6-0 win at the sixth spot.
 
In doubles play, the Majors continued the positive momentum with an 8-0 win at the one spot.  The duo of Ashley Ford and Audrey Bennett secured the convincing win; as Reya Hayek and Jordyn Kanak then earned an 8-1 win at the two spot.
 
Anna Brahce and Tori Barbier closed out the day of play with an 8-2 win at the doubles three spot – leaving Millsaps the 9-0 victor.
 
Now at 10-4, the Majors will return home for a non-conference matchup this Thursday, March 24th.  The Millsaps Women's Tennis Team faces Meridian Community College for a 1:00 pm start.
