Sewanee, TN – The Millsaps Softball team completed the regular season with a 9-0 win over Sewanee in five innings on Sunday.
The Majors earned their first conference series sweep of the season with Sunday's win and improve to 21-19 (10-8) on the year. Starting pitcher Mary Claire-Shepard earns consecutive wins for the first time this season and improves to 4-4 on the mound for the Majors. Millsaps led throughout Sunday's contest and for the third straight game – completed the game in less than seven innings.

Katelyn Murray then scored LeBlanc on an RBI single, as designated hitter
Hannah Doggett closed out the positive first with another RBI single, this time to score Murray.
Following the three-run first, the Majors scored twice in the second and three in the third – and never looked back. Overall, Millsaps totaled nine runs on ten hits to earn the game three win.
Mary Claire Shepard finished the game pitching five scoreless innings giving up only three hits in 18 batters faced.
Rayner LeBlanc led in hits with three while
Missy Romero finished with two. LeBlanc also led in RBIs with three as five different Majors recorded an RBI in Sunday's game.
Millsaps Softball completes the season with an overall record of 21-19 and 10-8 in SAA play. Next up for the Majors is the Southern Athletic Association Tournament next weekend. Millsaps will be the three seed as the conference tournament, held in Bartlett, Tennessee begins Friday, April 22nd.
