JACKSON, MISS. -- Women's Tennis defeats Centenary 9-0.

Millsaps Women's Tennis swept both Tougaloo and Centenary today in their season opener at home.

In the matchup against Centenary, the duo of Ashley Ford and Maggie Dabadie got things kicked off for the Majors, dominating in their first match and winning 8-0. In the two spot, Reya Hayek and Natalie Toups kept things going with a 8-1 win, then Rachel Beck and Tori Barbier came through with another 8-0 victory in the three spot. 

In singles competition, Maggie Dabadie got the Majors off to a 6-1, 6-0 start. The next five matches were all decided 6-0, 6-0, with singles victories by Jordyn Kanak, Rachel Beck, Mary Claiborne-Sharpe, Reya Hayek, and Tori Barbier. 

Against Tougaloo, Ford and Dabadie again got things started with a 8-0 win. Beck and Kanak won in the two spot 8-3 and Hayek and Toups won with a 8-0 sweep in the three spot.

Singles competition was a little bit closer against than against Centenary, but the Majors still swept the competition.
