GENEVA, Oh. -- On Thursday, for the second consecutive season, Millsaps College was represented on the biggest stage in all of NCAA Division III track & field. 

Junior Payton Passantino competed in the javelin for the second time in her Millsaps career. 

With a best distance of 37.23 meters she finished 19th in the 22-person field. She also had throws of 36.76 and 36.69 meters. 

This wraps up a 2019 season that saw Passantino once again win the javelin at the SAA meet and earn another first team all-conference selection. 

"We are all really proud of Payton. It is a true honor to have her on this team," said Head Coach Andy Till. "She loves Millsaps and everything the college stands for, and you can see that in how she trains and competes. She is the definition of a true scholar-athlete," Till finished.
