AUSTIN, Texas – Senior Millsaps women's tennis standout Camille Fremaux was recognized for her success on the court as well as the classroom by being named to the 2023 CSC Academic All-District® Women's Tennis Team, selected by the College Sports Communicators on Tuesday.

The 2023 Academic All-District® Women's Tennis Teams recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes women's tennis honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.

Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced June 1.

These CSC academic awards are a continuation of awards given by the organization formally known as CoSIDA.

Fremaux was recently named to the All-SAA Team for the third time after making the Second Team in 2022 and 2023 as well as the First Team in 2021. She also was tabbed SAA Women's Tennis Newcomer of the Year in 2021 as a sophomore.

On April 28, 2022, she was recognized as the ITA x Universal Tennis Player of the Week after posting the largest jump between Universal Tennis Rankings for women's NCAA Division III student-athletes.

She also helped power Millsaps to the program's first SAA regular and postseason titles in 2021. Additionally, the 2021 squad secured its first NCAA Tournament berth and won its first-ever NCAA Tournament match.

In the classroom, Fremaux entered her final semester with a 3.67 GPA after earning a spot on the SAA Academic Honor Roll three times. Hailing from Baton Rouge, La., she will be obtaining her degree in Accounting.
