ATLANTA – Millsaps women's tennis graduate Camille Fremaux and senior Madison Williams closed their strong regular season by sweeping the Southern Athletic Association women's tennis weekly awards on Tuesday.

Fremaux was selected the SAA Women's Tennis Singles Athlete of the Week, while she teamed up with Williams as both were voted SAA Women's Tennis Doubles Athletes of the Week by league coaches.

Fremaux was terrific securing a pair of Court 1 singles wins over the weekend. She bested her Oglethorpe foe in a 7-6 (7-1), 6-3 decision on Saturday. Fremaux followed with a strong 6-2, 6-2 winner hosting Berry on Sunday. The Majors defeated the Stormy Petrels, 5-1 and fell to the Vikings, 5-2 in those respective matches.

Williams and Fremaux were also victorious twice in the regular-season finales on Court 2 doubles. The duo won 8-1 against Oglethorpe on Saturday and 8-4 over Berry on Sunday.

It is the second consecutive week the tandem was named the top doubles team in the conference. Fremaux closed the regular-season campaign with three straight singles triumphs, while the duo ended 2024 with a 5-2 SAA record and four consecutive winners.

The Millsaps women's tennis program will now compete in the SAA Tournament Quarterfinals as the No. 5 seed. They will face No. 4 seed Centre at 1 p.m. on Friday in Murfreesboro, Tenn.
