CANTON, Ga. – The Millsaps College men's and women's track and field programs are looking to stay on the right path heading into the 2026 seasons after both being selected ninth by league coaches in the 2026 Southern Athletic Association Indoor Track and Field Preseason Polls, announced by the SAA office on Friday.
The Majors will be guided by second-year head coach
Brandon Beckett and assistant coach
Derrick Jordan, both looking to continue building the program with their leadership.
On the men's side, Trinity was selected first with 66 points and five first-place votes, while Centre was tabbed second with 64 points and three first-place votes.
Berry finished behind Centre with 63 points and one first-place plaudit. Millsaps completed the poll in ninth place with 19 points.
On the women's side, Centre secured the first spot with 67 points and four first-place votes. Trinity crosses the poll's finish line in second place with 66 points and tied with Centre with four first-place votes.
Berry rounded out the third spot with 61 points and one first-place vote, while Millsaps was selected in ninth place with 19 points.
