CANTON, Ga.  – Millsaps baseball was 4-0 on the week and one of their own was named the Southern Athletic Association Pitcher of the Week by league coaches on Monday. Millsaps senior pitcher Nick Tarantino combined for a 1.29 ERA in 7.0 innings with 11 strikeouts.

The Covington, La., product struck out nine batters, did not surrender a walk and only allowed one run and three hits in 6.0 IP against Edgewood on Friday. He also tossed one flawless inning of relief with two strikeouts against MUW on Tuesday.

Millsaps will return to action hosting LeTourneau University for a three-game series, beginning at 6 p.m. on Friday. Live video and live stats will be available at gomajors.com.
