TEMPE, Ariz. — The Millsaps men's and women's tennis programs have been recognized for the sixth consecutive season as ITA All-Academic Teams. Thanks to their hard work and dedication both in the classroom and on the court, the Majors had a total of 12 student-athletes also named ITA Scholar-Athletes. Both sets of awards were announced by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association on Wednesday.
On the women's side, Mary Dabadie, Segen Lister, Riley McClain, Alexis Oliver, Malakie Smith, Skyler Spinks and Mackenzie Vordick all exceeded past expectations by achieving a 3.5 GPA or higher.
From the men's team, Anderson Dulaney, Sebastian Gonzalez, Brady St. Martin, Caleb Solangi and Sam Willard also earned recognition.
Millsaps aced the All-Academic Teams for the sixth consecutive year. The women's program recorded an impressive 3.73 cumulative GPA after the completion of the Fall and Spring semesters of the 2024-25 academic year, while the men's team boasted a cumulative 3.42 GPA.
In 2025, a total of 1,269 Division III women's student-athletes were named ITA Scholar-Athletes, and 165 women's tennis programs were awarded All-Academic Team distinction. The men's teams totaled 1,115 Division III ITA Scholar-Athletes, and 135 men's tennis programs were awarded All-Academic Team honors.
To be named an ITA Scholar-Athlete, one must meet the following requirements:
- Have a grade point average of at least 3.5 (on a 4.00 scale) following the 2024-25 academic year.
- Be listed on the institutional eligibility form.
To be named an ITA All-Academic Team, programs must meet the following requirements:
- Have a team grade point average of 3.2 or above (on a 4.00 scale),
- All student-athletes included should be listed on the institutional eligibility form.
- All varsity letter winners should be factored into the cumulative team GPA for the current academic year.
