CANTON, Ga.— Millsaps men's and women's golf duo senior Steven Noack and sophomore Abigail Cerwick were recognized by the Southern Athletic Association for showcasing strong leadership and a great spirit of sport as they were named to the 2025–26 All-SAA Sportsmanship Team after being selected by the Millsaps College golf coaches following the SAA Championships on Sunday.
These two student-athletes not only represented the conference well, but also their teammates, displaying respect, fairness, and overall great sportsmanship while competing against others.
Noack, majoring in Accounting, is a three-time member of the Dean's list and has been named to the CSC Academic All-District® Men's At-Large Team and the SAA Academic Honor Roll once.
The Austin, Texas, native concluded his senior campaign by finishing 35th at plus-15 in the final round of the 2026 Southern Athletic Association Golf Championships at Greystone Golf Club in Dickson, Tenn., on April 26.
Noack (81–73—154) led the Majors, tying for an impressive ninth place out of 37 collegiate golfers. He posted both two-round and 72-hole personal bests as a Major on Sept. 6.
Cerwick, a business and studio art major, was recently named to Club 40 for achieving a perfect 4.0 GPA during the 2025 fall semester and has made the President's list twice.
The Helena, Ala., product is also a member of Premier Scholar, Wellspring, and Chi Omega on the campus of Millsaps.
Cerwick carded the best three-round total of her collegiate career at plus-36 in the 2026 Southern Athletic Association Golf Championships on Apr. 26.
She accomplished the feat after closing the final round at plus-4 (76). Her score was six strokes better than her freshman total at last season's conference championship.
