Four year letterman in tennis (1977-81) 

Participated in NCAA National Championship Tournament all four years   

Finalist in Mississippi Collegiate Invitational Tournament after upsetting Mississippi State University's number one seed 

Won pivotal singles match that helped Millsaps defeat the NCAA Division III number one ranked team in country during his senior year 

Has one of the highest winning records in Millsaps tennis history - only lost one Division III team match in his four year career
