Tammy (Ladner) Threadgill established herself as one of the most impressive pitchers in SCAC history during her time at Millsaps College. A four-time All-SCAC First Team selection, she led her team to the 2003 NCAA Tournament, securing the program's first-ever wins in the regional. (Ladner) Threadgill's impressive career included a 51-30 record, a 2.09 ERA and 227 strikeouts. Her dominance was evident in the 2003 SCAC Tournament, where she tossed 11 shutout innings and held opponents to a .171 batting average.
(Ladner) Threadgill was also named to the SCAC 15th Anniversary Softball Team, was featured as a SCAC Top 20 Moment for her 2003 Regional success and was a 2003 All-Region selection. She is one of only five players in SCAC history to have secured All-SCAC First Team recognition four times. The 2003 title was the first in program history and she dominated that regular season with a 1.18 ERA in 112.1 innings pitched.
