Looking to make a comeback in the third quarter, freshman
Luke Bridges forced a Centre fumble which was recovered by classmate
Michael Battle. Jennings then drove the Majors 90 yards down the field with eight plays, finishing the drive with a 14-yard touchdown completion to Bennett to cut the deficit to 24-14.
Centre scored the next three touchdowns before Jennings would find Cohen on a three-yard pass, making it a 45-20 contest after a missed extra-point attempt. The Colonels added two late touchdowns for the final 59-20 tally.
